The word Gumsaba is a Native American term of the Washoe (the original spelling of Tahoe) Tribe. Gumsaba was the big harvest festival, where all tribes far and wide came together in celebration of the fruits of their labor and talents. Each tribe would bring their very best wares, food and gifts to barter, holding nothing back. This was a time to show the greatness of their tribes talents and share it with each other. The program that is Gumsaba brings great people, great instructors and the best modern fitness techniques to bring you an amazing and unparalleled program. We often hear new clients say that they have done a “Boot Camp” before, and after their first few sessions they say they have never had an experience like Gumsaba. We really work hard to make each workout unique, exciting, diverse and effective. Each Coach brings a different strength to the team, and unlike other Boot Camps we have a universal program so your body will respond positively to Boot Camp several days in a row, even at different classes with different instructors. The Gumsaba community is about being outdoors, enjoying the company of healthy people who are finding more joy in fitness every day.
