WHAT CAN WE DO to celebrate earth day, every day?  Here are some great and easy ideas:

1) Enjoy a meatless Monday, or better yet and vegan lifestyle! You would be shocked to know the amount of greenhouse gas is produced by CAFO’s.

2) Go paperless: pass on the paper coffee cup! Sit down and enjoy in ceramic, or BYOC.

3) Bring your own bags to the store. This one is a no brain-er; paper and plastic are so 2000 and LATE.

4) Carpool to Boot Camp – a great way to stay accountable too!

5) Turn lights off and unplug vampire appliances.  Here are some energy saving tips for your computer.

6) Ride or walk instead of drive whenever you can!

7) Buy local and organic – save emissions from transport and say no to unnecessary pollution of our land and waterways. Save the birds and bees too.

8) Avoid harsh chemicals in your home, they aren’t good for your family or the earth. Opt for brands like method, simple green and the like. A little (good) dirt don’t hurt!

9) Grow your own food; you’ll support native wildlife and encourage sustainability in your neighborhood.

10) Avoid antibiotics unless totally necessary!  Keep them out of your foods (note that non organic milk and meats have high doses)
