I love Earth Day for many reasons. This day of gratitude that we show to this amazing planet we call earth is close to my heart. But appreciating this planet for the gift of life, and living in ways that benefit the planet are rituals that we should practice daily! Our impact on the planet is greater than any other species. From the resources we use to adorn our homes to run our cars, to those we use to celebrate our wedded bliss and water our lawns, we should never let a day go by without being grateful for the gifts of our common mother, mama earth!

We are guests on this planet. It is on loan to us, and our health is tied to it. When we abuse the planet with trash, over use, toxins and other detrimental actions, we hurt ourselves. The more we can do to live a clean life, the better life is for all earthlings, for the planet, and the future.

Celebrate earth day tomorrow with a commitment to show more gratitude for the things that this planet so graciously gives. Stop and smell a rose. Watch the flight of a bird. Look beyond what you normally see, and you will find the grace that ties us all together. These are the gifts that never end.
