⅔ cup raw almonds

6 fresh medjool dates, pitted

2 tsp. maple syrup

1. Grind almonds in a food processor.
2. Once finely ground, add dates, maple syrup and cocoa and process until smooth.
3. Take a large teaspoonful of the almond chocolate mixture and roll into a ball between your palms.
4. Roll in cocoa to coat.
5. Continue with steps 2 and 3 until all almond-chocolate mixture is used.

How did I not see this before the holiday!? Who cares I am going to try it anyway! I make Larabars in a similar fashion (with medjool dates, almonds, and nut butter) but I bet the chocolate makes it even better, especially for the choca-holic that I am!
