Wishing you and your loved ones a beautiful finish to 2012!

I GO GUMSABA because I love life and staying active, fit, and healthy and being kind to me and all living beings is necessary to live happily and compassionately.
I Go Gumsaba because I love getting together with great friends and having an awesome workout at the same time. I can’t think of a better way to start my day!!!
I started Gumsaba just to get in shape. I couldn’t even turn my head to see out the back of the car, or put my pants on without sitting down. I now have much improved flexibility and strength. The surprise is how much fun I am having at workouts and how much I have learned about how my body works. Gumsaba gives me confidence and energy to get through each day.
I started Gumsaba on a whim. I had been inconsistently working out for almost 2 years (after the birth of my daughter) – but nothing was sticking. My back was really starting to hurt from lifting my daughter and I felt weak. I was tired all of the time and I couldn’t get rid of those last pounds of baby weight (which my doctor had recently reminded me I needed to do). This was a foreign feeling for me – before my daughter, I considered myself physically fit and pretty active.
Lifting weights in the gym (by myself) wasn’t energizing me anymore.
Outside workouts are refreshing. I’m not a morning person and waking up at 5AM is difficult – but as I get out of the car to meet the sunrise ladies, I know that my day is going to start off right. The Sunrise ladies are very motivating. They show up and work hard every morning – which pushes me to do the same.
