The link between disease and processed food is becoming painfully clear. Studies repeatedly show that conditions from cancer to kidney failure to Alzheimer’s are supported by eating processed foods. Eating whole, unprocessed foods will not only help your body fight everyday cold, but life threatening diseases as well.
Processed foods often contain chemical preservatives and trans fats. This deadly combination is found in foods that we feed children, like Cheerios and Ritz bits, and that isn’t even to mention the chemicals used to grow the ingredients in this un-food. Many ingredients that are harmless on their own become toxic when they interact with other chemicals. This is one of the reasons that these foods are considered “safe” for consumption.
