Imagine how much your life would change if you had a say in your thoughts. Imagine that you do have control over your thinking, because well….you most certainly have agency over your thought patterns, no matter how engrained they may be. You are the director, the producer, and the star of the show. It is up to you what thoughts you think. It is your call how you engage with the world around you. Being more deliberate with the substance of your thoughts will transform the quality of your life. From minute to minute, hour to hour, and day to day your thoughts – your internal world – have a direct impact on how you feel about yourself, those around you, and your overall existence. When you become more engaged with your thinking and notice certain patterns that are destructive, you realize your own power. This concept is probably not new to you, but it is certainly a good reminder that we all have the ability to reshape our thinking to be more positive, more constructive, and ultimately more in alignment with our truest self. So, my offering to you is to simply be aware of your thoughts and begin to tinker with them in a way that better supports your happiness. It can be when you are working out, when you are driving in traffic, or when you are about to do something at work that challenges you. Cheers to you and your almighty mind.
