Is it just me or does it seem like this winter has gone on forever? All of this rain is a gift, I know, and it’s something I’m grateful for, considering we were drought-stricken for so long. But I have to say, I miss the sunshine. There is nothing like those bright, sunny days to bring life and positivity into a person’s mood and shake off the funk. But the weather, like so many other things in life, is simply out of our control. It’s how we engage with, perceive, and respond to the seemingly endless rainy days that makes the difference in our experience. We can’t control the traffic, other people, the economy, or the weather. The good news is we have a great deal of power and responsibility in how we control our response to the changing tides of life. When we realize this, its not only liberating and freeing, it elevates our experience.
