We all have a lot going on. It truly is the nature of life these days. When stress hits, be prepared with a strong mental game. Develop that strong mental game by consistently challenging your self to become a better you. Whatever it is that you struggle with, each day win a small battle toward your long term victory. Remember, there is only one you, so don’t compare your struggle to anyone else’s. Others may inspire you, but in the end you walk your own path, and only you can decide which way to turn.

If working out is something you loathe, don’t call it a workout, call it ‘You Time’, and spend an our doing something active that you enjoy. Working out doesnt have to be a killer hour, it can be a long walk with a pet or a loved one, gardening or a nice long bike ride. There is a relatively small percentage of people who should work out hard in our society. Those people who make a hard workout seem easy have earned that state of mind-body-spirit equanimity. Don’t be intimidated by them, just realize that they have put in the time and effort to get to that place. It does not mean that you have to what they do to be great! However, it can inspire you to take steps toward a stronger, healthier, better you.

Another struggle many people grapple with is overeating. Our society makes it so easy to be a glutton. From fast food to misleading labels, its tough to navigate yourself around all of the junk out there. Just remember, your health is your most valuable asset. Take time to make food for your body and consider it fuel that will nourish you to a better you. Even if you don’t like eating healthy, your body will acclimate to it with the right plan. When you cut back on out processed foods and sugar you open your taste buds up to the goodness of whole foods.
