These are so easy to make and quite delish!

Taco Ingredients:

6 small organic white or yellow corn tortillas (sprouted if possible)

8oz block of sprouted Medium firm tofu

1 1/2 cup shredded red cabbage

Hot or Mild Salsa

1/2 lime

 

Fancy Sauce Ingredients:

2T Grapeseed Veganaise

1T unsweetened almond milk

1T dill relish

1t maple syrup

1/2t burn baby burn organic hot sauce

Sides (optional):

Brown rice

Black Beans

Chopped Lettuce

Chopped Tomato

Chopped Avocado

GLUTEN FREE VEGAN TACO RECIPE

Method:

Steam the tortillas and keep them warm and moist by covering them with a plate.

Cut the tofu into 18, 1/4″ rectangles. Sear the tofu in a non stick pan – which means cook on medium high each side for about 3-4 minutes.

Shred the cabbage

Cut the 1/2 lime into 4 quarters

Combine the fancy sauce ingredients and stir well.

GLUTEN FREE RECIPE

Put all the fixins on the table and build your tacos like this:

Take one taco and put 1T of Salsa

put 3 pieces of seared tofu on the salsa

follow with a 1/2 handful of red cabbage (or as much as you want!)

Drizzle the fancy on top and squeeze some lime over it.

This is a messy drippy dish, so have your napkins ready!
