Have you ever had a friend or family member that expects the world of you? When you don’t come through with something exactly as they pictured it they get frustrated or you feel badly, or both? Put a stop to the cycle with lowered expectations.

Expect a lot from yourself. Set yourself up for success by taking care of your body and your mind with regular exercise, good food, rest and meditation. Plan your time well so you don’t feel rushed, and give yourself time to just be, with nothing on your calendar. When it comest to your life, expect nothing from outside circumstances and other adults. Living this way allows you to take responsibility for your life and it gives you power over your circumstances. It also takes an unfair weight off of everyone else and gives them space to give back to you. Its a magnetic way of living!

So, give them a break. Whether its getting stuck in traffic, a busy server that forgot your appetizer, a parent that isn’t minding their child…whatever it is, you can only control what you expect from yourself.

Have a beautiful day!

So we got to our destination where we planned to swim for a week. NO THANKS! Toxic blue green algae. How do you think I am going to handle this? Guess in the comments!
