Adapted from the Art Smith’s Smoky Paprika-Baked Garbanzo Beans


  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 cans (30 oz. total) garbanzo beans/chickpeas (drained and rinsed)


  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F
  • Line baking sheet with parchment paper
  • Drain and rinse chickpeas, and combine with onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne, and salt in a mixing bowl
  • Spread mixture into prepared baking sheet
  • Bake for 1 hr, or until chickpeas are crispy and browned. Stir in 20 min. increments to ensure even baking.
