There is a time to play it safe; when you are driving, when crossing a street, ect. When you are offered a healthy risk by the universe take it. A healthy risk is one that you know you can conquer, but you are still afraid of. A good example is this photo of me last Friday on Eagle Rock. I would not recommend this risk to most people. I have been working on my balancing movements daily. Though the drop to my left in this photo is a sheer 200 foot cliff, I did not doubt for a second that I could maintain my focus and pull this tree pose off. Im an adrenaline junkie, so it really gave me a happy kick into the weekend and I couldn’t wait to get up on the rock and do it. I was nervous. I have come to identify good nerves from negative ones and these were all GOOD! Whether its running that extra mile, finishing your run with a sprint, upping your weights or pushing yourself to try a box jump, you will know the risk is right for you when it presents itself. No major obstacle is conquered without an equally major risk. Live your life to the fullest and become the most amazing version of you that you can be! GO GUMSABA!
