Focused and directed thoughts inspire and result in great movement. Take this push up that Lauren C. of the Danville Sunrise class was doing in her burped progress on Friday. She was not the fastest at the drill that day, because her goal was not to be the fastest. Her goal was clearly, to do her best.
Rushing usually makes us sloppy. This week, take a moment to pull back and focus on your form. Find any little nuances you can correct and fix them. I know that some days it feels like you just want to get the workout over with. Remember at those times that life is happening right now, as you are rushing through it. Realize that rushing isn’t going to put you in a better place to grow and learn from. Asking the best of yourself, regardless of what anyone else is doing, is the key to betterment.
