How you train is just as important as how often you train. The quality of your movement should be the number one focus of your workouts.  Take your time do each movement as correctly, include your breath cues and core function knowledge. In doing this, you will build a stronger foundation and you will have a better understanding of why we do the movements that we do at class! You will create proper muscle memory and your body will function better.  It may be tempting to rush and keep up with the others, but sacrificing form for speed will eventually get you hurt! Remember that this is about you. This is your time, you don’t need to consider what anyone else is doing in the class. Isn’t that a relief?! Just keep focused on your form and before you know it, the speed of each rep will become faster without risking injury.
