Just beyond the hustle and the ongoing to-do list is a space reserved for you, where you are free to let loose, crank up the tunes and work up a sweat. Even if you have 30 minutes to yourself, make it count. Focus on the task at hand – turn your phone on “do not disturb”, grab your equipment, and go into it with the mindset that you get to workout (not that you have to workout). Meet yourself where you are today. If you’re low on energy, ease into it. If you have any injuries, modify accordingly. If you’re feeling fierce and full of energy, be mindful of your form. And of course, have fun. Remember, it’s about progress not perfection.
