Understanding of any given thing or situation allows us to appreciate it. When we exercise mindfully, we strengthen the mind/body connection and enhance our understanding of self. We open the door to a greater knowledge of self on this primal, physical level. Our bodies are sending us signals all the time. Are you listening? Distractions will come and go, but you will be in your body for the rest of your life. Spend time getting to know it. Your body wants to communicate important messages. It will to tell you exactly when to push harder because its feeling great, and it will want you to know when to pull back in order to recover. Listen to it. If you feel a tweak or injury coming on, stop and rest. Then talk to your Coach; there may be small corrections they can help you make so that your body process a movement more effectively. Sip up every drop of information your body is signaling, get into it. I promise it will be well worth it. To your health, Coach Michelle
