One of our boot campers, Jennifer Foulds of the Walnut Creek Women’s only Boot Camp was feeling creative over the weekend and drew this great dove photo. I love her simple use of color and clean lines – its just so refreshingly childlike!  As we all “grow up”, I feel that it becomes more and more important to tap into our inner child and drawing is an easy way to get there.

One of the great aspects of outdoor boot camp is that feeling of being a kid again, playing with friends in the rain, the sun, the mud; getting sweaty dirty like we did when we were care free kids does something to our brains that nothing else can do. Here’s a play on the song Im yours, called Outdoors by Jason Mraz. It’s sad that so many kids these days grow up inside, missing that wonderful feeling of being one with nature.
