Two weeks ago Chad asked if I noticed that our water tasted moldy. I thought we just needed to change the Brita, but that didn’t help. We did our research and found out about the new source of our water is the Sacramento River. We needed something stronger than a Brita to make this new water palpable, and since we don’t want to buy plastic bottles, we came up with a very cost effective solution… Here are our suggestions in case you are thirsty for the good stuff!

• Buy a few 3 gallon glass bottles like these.

• Purchase stand or table and a clay water crock dispenser on Amazon (we also replaced the spigot).

• Fill the jugs up at Whole Foods. It costs just $1.50 per jug and it tastes great.

• Bonus note: buy a shower head filter
