I’ll never forget that day. I woke up to a phone call from my Mom who told me to turn on the TV. I didn’t have one at the time, so I went to my dads office to witness the horror. It seemed completely impossible, totally incomprehensible, to see such an evil act in motion. Now, fourteen years later, we remember that day as a part of our history. Time will never erase the pain and sadness that we all feel, and it shouldn’t. We will never forget.
Please take a moment and dedicate your day to those who lost their lives as a result of this tragic event and those who lost their loved ones that day. Show everyone you encounter extra patience and compassion; let that guide your actions today, and every day. Love is the answer.
