When things go wonky and the roller coaster of life is on the down, it takes a village. Not only do we count on others, but we also call on our past experiences to pull us through tough times. We build grit and determination when we step out of our comfort zone and into the great unknown. When we consistently practice raising the figurative roof of our limitations, we find that tough times become more manageable. Though they are always challenging, we learn to acclimate faster and with a better attitude!
Many of the workouts at Gumsaba will make you feel uncomfortable. That is a GOOD THING. Dragging tires, jumping, lifting heavy things…doing burpees. If you can be ok doing these things, you will start to build up the great power of your sprit, along with your physical body. But then, what if you learned to enjoy doing things that made you uncomfortable?! It is entirely possible. I have seen it happen with many of our clients. It happens when you consistently challenge yourself and you realize that the benefits far outweigh any emotional and physical challenges that you face.
