Welcome to another beautiful day. Another opportunity to share your gifts with the world, to savor the little things, to find the lessons and the growth in the challenges, and to move your body. It’s a gift, this body we’re born into. It is our choice on how we decide to love it, nurture it, work it, and recover. I like to think of exercise, whether it be an all-out sweat fest or a leisurely walk, as a way of thanking my body for all that it is, rather than what it is not. When we focus on what we have and all the opportunities before us, we are more likely to go for it. This is far better than the alternative: We aren’t strong enough, thin enough, or capable enough so we might as well not try. Um, no thank you! That’s just limiting beliefs making their way above the surface, and the best thing we can do is slough them off.
Go for it, be grateful for it (for you and your astounding physical body), and enjoy the ride. Cheers!
