We all workout for different reasons. Whether your reason is physical, mental, spiritual or a little of all of these, the underlying goal is whole health. Health is our greatest asset, and it is a really good reason to stay consistent with your workouts!

All too often we focus on one area of fitness, and neglect others. A focus on healthy eating without exercise, exercise with a nutrient poor diet, a focus on exercise without rest…this “something is better than nothing” approach is not healthy. Lack of balance of these areas of fitness can cause mood disorders like depression and anxiety and most always leads to a compromised immune system.

Make your whole health a priority.  Prep some meals on weekends. Turn off electronics by 8pm to allow the mind to rest. Commit to meeting a friend at class. Small changes can have a big effect on your whole health!
