I hope you are finding some grace today. This will be our first full week of living with more intention for 2021. We will get from it exactly what we put into it, so let’s give it the most we can.
Remember why you started this. Every day, every hour, every minute is another opportunity to grow and recommit to your health. When cravings come, realize they will pass. Studies show that cravings last 90 seconds, so distract yourself with something wonderful. With my new set of tea samplers and a great new book I’m feeling ready to step over any obstacles. Even under the extra stress of my Dad being in such a state, I have not craved my old habits because I prepared. When we dont have a plan, we flounder. If you don’t have a plan yet, make one today. Get your calendar out and start scheduling your workouts, your meals. Make it tight, but let it be flexible.
Temptation will come. Light a candle, read a book, repeat your mantra, hug your loved one, shoot me a text and tell me how you’re feeling. Health is our greatest wealth, and we are walking that talk together.
Today is the first day of the rest of our life. Let’s make it count!
