When love leads we can’t lose our way.
When love seems impossible, we are still capable of it. It is impossible to hate when you fill your heart and mind with it. Hate is like dirt in a wound and love is the healing solution that washes it away. Whether it’s a negative thought about yourself or someone else, it has no place in your beautiful life. Let it GO.
Heartbroken by the events in South Carolina last week, I am inspired by the love of those that suffered so greatly in the face of such horrific tragedy. The capacity to forgive such senseless hate….only love can do it, and it is the only thing so powerful that can stop these unimaginable acts from happening in the future. Maybe if someone had shown a little more love and compassion to the person that committed these acts they would not have happened. Show only love to each other, give it selflessly.
May the victims of this tragic act be an example for all of us – we can be a more compassionate and tolerant society. We can stop these acts of hate with love.
