Well, FINALLY is all I have to say. Americans eat and average of 1/3 of a POUND of sugar DAILY! Once again, I am happy to be way below average in this area.

I’ve heard a million times, from my mentors, in my study of the fitness and nutrition field, that a calorie is a calorie. I have always been a skeptic on this point; and new studies show that sugar calories are a different breed of calorie. These studies show that added sugar causes heart disease and cancer. Cancer LOVES glucose, in fact, many tumors grow with sugar intake. Sugar also causes a rise in BAD LDL cholesterol, which is a fast track to heart disease, the number one killer of women in our country.

YIKES. Its time to ELIMINTATE the processed sugar from your diet. Watch this video, take it to heart (PUN INTENDED)  and get that poison out of your diet, as much as possible!

So go on and eat your fruit, but pass on the soda and cake. Its not going to get you where you want to go anyway, and you are training your body to need more just to feel satisfied!
